> **Short answer:** Shooting Stars, or 3SC, are an Ibadan club with two African trophies and a long history in Nigerian football. When betting on them, consider their home crowd in Ibadan, CAF travel this season, and the mood around derby games.

## Club profile

| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Full name | Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) |
| Nickname | Oluyole Warriors |
| City | Ibadan, Oyo State |
| Home ground | Lekan Salami Stadium |
| Nigerian league titles | Includes 1995 and 1998 |
| Continental honours | African Cup Winners' Cup 1976; CAF Cup 1992 |

## Rivals and derbies

Shooting Stars' oldest rivalry is with Rangers International of Enugu. Both clubs were giants of Nigerian football in the 1970s and 1980s.

In the south-west, games against Ikorodu City from Lagos State are called the Southwest derby. These matches bring big local interest.

## Shooting Stars betting example: Shooting Stars vs Ikorodu City

Say you stake (the money you bet) ₦500 on the Southwest derby in Ibadan. You pick [GG](https://oddsclass.com/learn/gg_ng/) (both teams to score) at 1.90 (example odds).

| Final score | Both scored? | Return |
|---|---|---|
| 2–1 | Yes | ₦950.00 |
| 1–1 | Yes | ₦950.00 |
| 1–0 | No | ₦0.00 |
| 0–0 | No | ₦0.00 |

If the match ends 2–1, both teams scored. You get ₦500 × 1.90 = ₦950. Your profit is ₦450. If it ends 1–0, the bet loses. Check other stakes with the [payout calculator](https://oddsclass.com/tools/payout_calculator/).

## How to bet on Shooting Stars matches

Start with where the game is played. Ibadan crowds can push 3SC forward at the Lekan Salami Stadium. Read [home advantage](https://oddsclass.com/learn/home_advantage/).

- **Continental games.** 3SC qualified for the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup. Check if they are still in it, as extra travel can tire the squad.
- **Derby mood.** Southwest derbies and Rangers games can be emotional and physical.
- **Form.** Read the last five or six results, home and away separately. See [team form](https://oddsclass.com/learn/team_form/).
- **Full picture.** Combine form, team news and venue. See [how to analyse a match](https://oddsclass.com/learn/how_to_analyze_a_match/).
