> **Short answer:** Express FC, the Red Eagles, are one of Uganda's oldest clubs, with seven league titles. They play at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo. When betting on Express, check form, team news and derby pressure against SC Villa.

## Club profile

| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Full name | Express Football Club |
| Nickname | The Red Eagles |
| Founded | 1957 |
| City | Kampala |
| Home ground | Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo |
| League titles | 7 (latest 2020/21) |
| Other honours | 10 Uganda Cups |

## Rivals and derbies

Express FC's biggest rivals are SC Villa. Villa began as Nakivubo Boys, a side linked to Express. That shared history makes their meetings tense.

Express also meet KCCA FC and Vipers SC, the other big names. In these games, crowds and pressure can matter as much as form.

## Express betting example: Express vs SC Villa

Say you stake (the money you bet) USh 2,000 on [double chance](https://oddsclass.com/learn/double_chance/) 1X. You win if Express win or the match is a draw.

| Final score | Result | 1X at 1.45 (example odds) |
|---|---|---|
| 2–1 | Express win | Wins: USh 2,900.00 |
| 1–1 | Draw | Wins: USh 2,900.00 |
| 0–1 | SC Villa win | Loses: USh 0.00 |

If the match ends 2–1 to Express, you get USh 2,000 × 1.45 = USh 2,900. Your profit is USh 900.

If SC Villa win, you lose the USh 2,000. Try other amounts in the [payout calculator](https://oddsclass.com/tools/payout_calculator/).

## How to bet on Express matches

To bet on Express matches, check the venue, team news and the opponent's form. No factor makes a result certain.

- **Home ground.** Express moved home games from Wankulukuku to Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo. Older home records may come from a different ground. See [home advantage](https://oddsclass.com/learn/home_advantage/).
- **Derby pressure.** Against SC Villa, big crowds can make games tight. Draws are always possible.
- **Travel.** Away trips far from Kampala mean long road journeys.
- **Fixture congestion.** Uganda Cup games can add midweek matches.
- **Form.** Look at the last five or six games. Our [team form](https://oddsclass.com/learn/team_form/) guide shows how.

## Popular markets for Express matches

- [1X2](https://oddsclass.com/learn/1x2/) – home win, draw or away win.
- [Double chance](https://oddsclass.com/learn/double_chance/) – covers two of the three results.
- [Draw no bet](https://oddsclass.com/learn/draw_no_bet/) – your stake comes back on a draw.

## Common mistakes

- **Betting on the club's name.** History does not win this season's games.
- **Using home records from the old ground.** Express changed home stadium.
- **Trusting old derby results.** Read our [head-to-head](https://oddsclass.com/learn/head_to_head/) guide first.
- **Staking more on derby day.** Keep the same stake. See [bankroll management](https://oddsclass.com/learn/bankroll_management/).
